The Spirit of Peace
 
Today I am in reflective mode in my Mixed Media art making. This text method is known as "Found Poetry" and the text is taken from an old book by Virginia Woolf - "A room of One's Own". 
If you don't know what Found Poetry is - take a page from a book and source disparate sentences or words and put them together to suit your own agenda. In my case I was working on a mixed media angel so the sentences I found became this picture.
 
It is made using acrylic on a stretched canvas (8" sq) with the addition of lace netting, gold leaf, Swarovski and Marcasite stones, and Austrian glass teardrops.
