I beaded around a fabulous 20mm faceted ruby red glass cabochon and made it into a ring with an adjustable base. It will therefore fit most average finger sizes.  All the different beads are glass.
 
The measurement across the top of the beaded area (diameter) is 45mm (just under 2").
